A compendium of learned Diablo 2 Speak

Diablo 2 is a rediculously simple game. Online, however, the layers of human interaction, cultural development, and communication are so thick, it can make even an old hat like me feel like a complete idiot newb.

• Party Please: Invite me into your party, please.
• TP
• Town Portal: Send a Town Portal.
• WP
• WayPoint: Send a TP from specifies waypoint so someone else can get it.
• Rush
• A quick playing through the game, used to get someone to a higher difficulty level.
• SOJ
• Stone of Jordan: A very cool ring for casters. used to be the best ever ring, but now, it's just... rockin'.
• IK
• Imortal Kings: The best item set (green) in the game.
• Cows
• This refers to the Secret Cow level you can access by putting Wirt's Leg and a Tome of Town Portal into the Horradric Cube, after you've beaten a difficulty level. Cows give good stuff. And a 1st level characcter can get in there. You will learn to love the Cows.
• Tele
• teleport. This means a Sorceress with Teleport will quickly get to a place in the game, typically the final fight with Baal.
• Trang
• TranGhouls set items. I probably spelt it wrong, but it's a Necromanccer set that makes the wearer look like a Lich.
